Who is the audience, how do you know?
I would say the target audience is for around sixteen to thirty year olds, I would say this because the magazine is all about up to date music, music that people nowadays listen to and enjoy, therefore I wouldn’t say that the old aged band of people would be interested in looking at the magazine never mind buying it. I think this is a good aged group to set the audience for as I think it relates to the magazine in a lot of ways.
What is the text selling? I think the text is selling the more up to date outcome and trying to push across that if you buy this magazine your following that group which is all the people in which relate to this magazine and always buy it, they always buy it because its full of up to date music and information about the people in which the target audience likes.
What sort of attitude/tone does it have?
I think that the magazine has a sort of outgoing attitude in which it is ready to grab people and draw them in to buy the magazine, I know this because the front cover and fonts in which are used are bold and eye catching. I think the magazine company do this because they know they have to compete against other
Consider the ideology of the text, valued/ believed in?
